The Space
Welcome to the Poipu Penthouse, a rare rooftop residence at the Prince Kuhio Condominiums.
 
As this is a new listing, there are only a handful of reviews for this condo. Please see the reviews for my other Airbnb properties for my references as a Superhost and my commitment to providing exceptional stays for my guests.
 
As one of only two penthouse units at the top of the complex, Unit 402 is a 2-bedroom, 1-bath condominium featuring one of the largest lanais and balconies in all of Poipu right outside of the unit with sweeping ocean and mountain views from every room. You will have access to half of the roof top balcony.
 
Of the two adjoining penthouse units, Unit 402 is the north facing residence looking out towards the mountains, with ocean views to its sides.
 
Inside, you’ll find an open layout with windows throughout, giving you 180 degree views of the ocean and mountains. Within the condo, you'll find a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a living and dining area, laundry with a washer and dryer, and two bedrooms.
 
The first bedroom has a  king size bed, and the second bedroom has a queen size bed.
 
Living room has an LG Smart TV, Bose Sound Bar, cable tv, and blazing fast fiber optic wifi throughout the condo.
 
You’ll also enjoy an in-unit washer and dryer, and one full bathroom with a shower (no tub).
 
Please note, the Poipu Penthouse does not have central air conditioning or a split AC system. However, I do provide three portable AC units, and one dehumidifier. 
 
Because of the top floor location of the Penthouse, keeping the windows open can keep the unit breezy and cool with trade winds.
 
Complex has community pool and bbq grills.
 
 
LOCATION:
 
Prince Kuhio Condominiums is set in one of Poipu’s most iconic locations. Just across the street is the ocean, where you can watch waves roll in, spot sea turtles, and enjoy sunrise and sunset views steps from the property. Lawai Beach, known for snorkeling, is steps away, and several popular surf breaks are within easy walking distance. Boss frogs is right across the street for equipment rentals.
 
Baby Beach, with its calmer waters, is also a short walk away.
 
The complex is located next to Prince Kuhio Park, the birthplace of Prince Kuhio and a sacred Hawaiian landmark, offering a unique connection to the island’s history and culture.
 
Directly across the street is the iconic Beach House Restaurant, one of Poipu’s most celebrated oceanfront dining establishments.
 
Pharmacy and everyday essentials, including Longs Drugs, are just a few minutes drive away, along with nearby shopping and dining at the Shops at Kukuiula.
 
 
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
 
For check-in, guests will receive a door code for the front door prior to their check-in.
 
For check-out, please close the lanai doors on the way out. The housecleaners will take care of everything else.

Other Things to Note
• Roosters and birds may be heard at times
• Please remember that we are in the tropics. While the home is professionally treated, you may encounter local insects, pests or geckos during your stay.
• An outdoor exterior Ring camera is installed by the outside stairwell.
• For cooling, portable AC units are available. However, strong trade winds can keep the condo at a comfortable temperature.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 1 day prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 1 day prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

For credit card refunds, there is a 4% non-refundable credit card processing fee. Mahalo for your understanding.
