The Space
Islander on the Beach is a beachfront resort located off Kauai's east side in the town of Kapaa. 
 
The complex features a beautiful plantation style lobby and grounds. The resort is set in a tropical garden setting with lush greenery, flowers and well manicured lawn. 
 
There is an outdoor pool and hot tub, and a poolside bar with drinks. BBQ grills are also available for your enjoyment.
 
The Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant is next door to the resort and is accessible by beachfront.
 
The Coconut Marketplace is across the street and features many shops and restaurants, including the popular Island Country Market, which is an enhanced ABC Store with a deli and cafe.
 
Islander on the Beach is situated just 15 minutes away by car from the Airport.

Other Things to Note
SPALLING CONSTRUCTION (FINISHED):
 
Construction has been completed at the Kauai and Niihau buildings. No additional work is planned for the other buildings at this time. This project is now complete.
 
ROOF PROJECT:
 
The HOA is planning on roof maintenance work sometime in the future. HOA has applied for permits, but it could take months, if not, more than a year, for the permits to be approved by the county.
 
Construction discount will be offered to guests affected by noise during the roof maintenance work. The amount of the discount will be determined once the HOA announces more details on the project.
 
If you book a reservation, and your stay is affected by the roofing work, and you want to cancel your reservation before the start date, I will approve full refund requests.
 
REGULAR MAINTENANCE:
 
Please note the HOA performs regular maintenance of the resort, including painting work and pressure washing which could affect your passage of common area pathways.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-six percent (96.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 1 day prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 1 day prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

For credit card refunds, there is a 4% non-refundable credit card processing fee. Mahalo for your understanding.
